Instructions on how to change the username for the Billion 711CE.

In Internet Explorer clear the address from the address bar and type in 192.168.1.254.

You will be prompted for a username and password. Enter the User Name ‘admin’ and Password as ‘password’ and click OK

 

Once logged the main status screen ‘Home’ should look similar to the following:

 

Under Configuration on the left hand side click on WAN.

Scroll down to the ENCAPSULATION section, and select PPPoA VC Mux.

Scroll down to the PPP section to the 'USERNAME' box.

Type in your username in the following format: username@dsl.e-access.com.au

Enter your password in the password field.

It should now look like the following:

 

Click Submit, (This page refreshes), click Save Configuration which brings up the following screen:

Click Submit. Upon a successful reboot you should be online. A successful reboot is known when the SYN comes back on to the normal solid state.
