WINDOWS ME SETUP FOR E-ACCESS

• From the desktop double click on My Computer
• Double click on the Dial Up Networking folder
• Double click on Make New Connection
• The screen shown below will appear

• Enter E-access as the name for the computer you are dialing
• Select the modem that you wish to use to dial this connection
• Click the Next > button
• The screen shown below will appear

• Enter 0198331221 for the telephone number
• Click the Next > button
• Click the Finish button

• In the Dial Up Networking window right click on the E-access icon and select properties
• The window shown below will appear

• Click on the Networking tab
• The window shown below will appear

• Click the NetBEUI check box to remove the tick
• Click the IPX/SPX Compatible check box to remove the tick
• Make sure the TCP/IP is checked
• Click on the Security tab
• The screen shown below will appear

• In the Username box enter your full E-Access email address (ie username@e-access.com.au)
• In the Password box enter your E-Access password
• Leave the Domain box blank
• Click the Connect Automatically check box to remove the tick
• Click the Log on to network check box to remove the tick
• Click the Require encrypted password check box to remove the tick
• Click the Require data encryption check box to remove the tick
• Click OK button
